China aluminum industry equipment technological level continues improving. It becomes more efficient than before. Large-scale equipment is used in this industry. The energy-saving target and emission reduction targets gradually optimized. The aluminum energy consumption significantly declined. From 2012 to 2016, the comprehensive energy consumption of alumina in China decreased from 583.2 kg of standard coal each ton to 382 kg of standard coal each ton, reduced by 34.5%; the comprehensive AC power consumption of aluminum ingot decreased from 13,844 kWh each ton to 13,599 kWh each ton, reduce 245 kwh each ton. Energy conservation and environmental protection have become the industry consensus.
