India-based CavinKare has upgraded the packaging of its Cavin's Milkshakes by partnering with US-based Ball Corp, known for its sustainable aluminium cans. This strategic initiative aims to transform the dairy industry by providing consumers with eco-friendly, convenient, and nutritious beverage options.

The partnership with Ball Corporation demonstrates CavinKare's commitment to environmental sustainability. The aluminium cans used in CavinKare shakes are designed to be highly recyclable, promoting a circular economy by encouraging consumers to recycle after use.

According to Aluminium Expo, Ball's aluminium cans are able to withstand the steaming process, ensuring that Cavin Shake retains its nutrition, flavour, and freshness. This advanced packaging technology ensures that consumers enjoy a high-quality product with every purchase.

Aluminium, as a resource-rich white light metal, is second only to steel in terms of production and tops the list of non-ferrous metals for its use in the packaging industry. Aluminium is used as a packaging material, typically in the form of aluminium sheets, blocks, and foils, as well as aluminised films.
