aluminium show | Atom Precision's subsidiary to invest in high-performance aluminium alloy materials and automotive lightweight parts production project

According to Yantai Atom Precision Mechanical Corporation, its subsidiary Jiangsu Fuzerui Metal Technology Co., Ltd. intends to sign the "Project Agreement" with the Management Committee of Changshu Economic and Technological Development Zone, to invest in the building of high-performance aluminium alloy materials and automotive lightweight parts production project in Changshu Economic and Technological Development Zone. The investment amount is expected to be less than 350 million yuan, of which construction investment is 270 million yuan and working capital is 79.875 million yuan. The source of funds is equity fund or self-financing.

According to the Aluminium Show, the project plans to use 35 acres of land (specific area to real estate registration certificate contained in the area shall prevail). The total construction area is expected to reach 16,932.00 square meters, and 16 die-casting island equipment, 45 die-casting post-treatment and die repair equipment, 25 three-coordinate and other laboratory testing equipment, and 42 machining centre and auxiliary equipment are expected to be added. The main products are one-piece die-casting body structure parts, integrated traditional body sheet metal parts, aluminium alloy die-casting products, door lock bracket forgings, etc. It is expected to produce 2.04 million sets of aluminium alloy die-casting products and 2 million pieces of door lock bracket forgings.

The construction of the project in expected to further increase the company's production capacity, and at the same time further optimise the company’s the product mix, consolidate the company's market position, and meet the market demand brought about by the downstream automotive industry, so as to lay the foundation for the company's future performance. The main products of the project include automotive parts and other lightweight key products. Through the construction of this project, the company will help downstream customers to achieve the goal of automotive lightweight, and then promote energy saving and emission reduction in the automotive industry, contributing to the achievement of the national “dual carbon reduction” goal.
