Aluminium Show |Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Tongchuan Aluminum-Based New Material Project Settles in Dongjiahe Industrial Park

On March 20th, the Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Group's Tongchuan Aluminum-Based New Material Project was launched in the Dongjiahe Circular Economy Industrial Park in Tongchuan City. This project is an important step for the Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Group to deepen corporate and local collaboration with Tongchuan City, to achieve transformation and upgrading, and to advance into new development tracks. It also adds new momentum for the Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Group to fully build a modern industrial system and to construct a world-class enterprise.

Li Jiuhong, the Secretary of the Tongchuan Municipal Committee, attended the ceremony. Hao Guangyao, Deputy Secretary of the Tongchuan Municipal Committee and Mayor, and Mo Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Group, attended the ceremony, gave speeches and jointly initiated the project. Huang Zhongliang, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of the Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Group, hosted the ceremony.

In line with Shaanxi Province's "Three-Year" activity plan, the Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Group adheres to the main business positioning of "developing materials and equipment simultaneously and focusing on high-end and green" based on the "thousands, hundreds, tens, and ones" development goals. With the core of extending the industrial chain in five levels and innovating the product cluster in five styles, the group has deployed 12 categories of modern industrial projects. This builds new developmental advantages, cultivates new productive forces, promotes the industrial structure towards high-end manufacturing, and strives to create a new name card for non-ferrous metal high-tech materials. To accelerate the extension, supplementation, and strengthening of the aluminum industry chain, Tongchuan Aluminum-Based New Materials Co., Ltd. was registered and established to boost high-quality development through new projects.

According to Aluminium Show, the total investment in the Tongchuan Aluminum-Based New Material Project is 733 million yuan. The project aims to build a high-end, intelligent,  green and modern factory, relying on Shaanxi Meixin's annual production of 300,000 tons of liquid aluminum. It plans to start a project producing 30,000 tons of refined aluminum and high-purity aluminum annually and a project producing 50,000 tons of aluminum-based new materials annually (20,000 tons in the first phase). The projects are mainly targeted at high-performance new materials fields such as chemical and electronics, characterized by high automation, safe production processes, and low energy consumption. Once the project reaches its full capacity, it is expected to achieve an annual revenue of 1.225 billion yuan.
