The "Silk Aluminum" new material is mainly used in high-aesthetic-value laptops. In LENOVO's newly released Xiaoxin notebook series for Spring 2023, the sleek and stylish Xiaoxin Air 14 2023 in the Twilight Purple color is particularly eye-catching. This laptop model uses LENOVO's proprietary "Silk Aluminum" material, offering a silk-like feel and luster, blending beauty with a great user experience. Now, the "Silk Aluminum" material has been widely applied in LENOVO product series like YOGA, Xiaoxin, Legion, and ThinkBook. According to aluminium expo, during the manufacturing process of the "Silk Aluminum" 5L52 material, strict control of iron content was implemented, clearly defining the temperature range for annealing and tempering. During the rolling process, changes such as grain growth, displacement, and dislocation were managed to control the grain size optimally, ensuring uniformity among the grain boundaries and minimizing dislocations. In the anodizing process, precise control was applied to every aspect that could cause acidic corrosion, including temperature, time, as well as the granularity, speed, area, and angle of sandblasting, achieving key technological breakthroughs and standardizations.
